What Makes NBC One Alloy Valve Seats Better?
Beryllium-Free copper alloy enhanced with nickel and silicone for wear toughness. Excellent thermal conductivity. Highly compatible with PVD and DLC seat coatings. Nickel and silicone enhanced for toughness against our MICRO-PVD coating. As the engine is initially run a nikasil type matrix forms on the seat surface. Then nickel silicon matrix is very hard, but it is comparatively ductile. The copper composition of the seat acts as cushion to deter valve bounce. Custom sizes are no problem.
